Root Canal on Wednesday

So looking forward to my root canal tomorrow..and maybe them I can have my toenails taken off and if I am really lucky can go for my annual well woman's check as well. Sunday Dress Shopping

Well the day started off bad and got much better! I went to WW this morning and to say that it was bad would be an understatement. I deserve the entire 1.4 pounds that I gained this week. I ate everything that I shouldn't, did not exercise and ate most of my meals in the car. This week will be much better and I am back on track. Guess sometimes I really have to slap myself to wake up and get back to thinking about what I eat. The girls and I cleaned house and then I took Hannah to shop for dresses for promotion. I have been dreading taking her shopping as she usually does not like anything and we had to get 2 dresses. We were in and out after 2 hours and she found 2 great dresses that she loves. So much easier than I thought and she looked beautiful.

Fridays Funny

TGIF! The Market visit week really well, I am super tired and ready to call it a day. Mike and I went to Streets of NY for pizza and beer and because the restaurant was so busy, it took forever to get our food. Really looking forward to this weekend and hanging around the house.

Crazy Wednesday or is it Friday yet?

Just a short note to say that this is the week that just goes on and on! Getting ready for a meeting at Macy's and a market visit on Friday. Megan is stressed to the max because of all that she has to do to finish the sashes and crowns for prom and study for her Spanish test. So ready for the week to be over. can anyone say Miller time? For me that is, not Megan!

Girls back to school after break

The girls went back to school today after Spring break and it was nice to get back into a routine again. The camera that we ordered from eBay arrived; such an amazing deal and a really great camera. Hannah and I purchased it together; but I have a feeling that I will have to fight to use it. The camera is currently in her possession and I might need to pry it from her sleeping hands to get my turn. I am really happy that she loves photography as much as I do and she has already scheduled a photo shoot with her friends this weekend. I am sure that she will have everything posted on flickr by Sunday night. Yes she is my daughter!

Weight Watchers, Movie and Sunday Afternoon

Super funny movie that I thought was great. Some bad language but not bad for a movie that is rated R. Megan really wants to see this, but I am not so sure that she should see it. Not that she will be shocked at the language and there is no nudity; but some of the humor is really raw and hopefully she will not understand it. Went to Weight Watchers this morning with Ginna and Karen ( or SK as Ginna calls her for Skinny Karen). Ginna lost the most at 1.2 lbs and I lost .6. I have lost a total of 10 lbs now and it does NOT come off as easy as it goes on. Hard to not be discouraged. Went to the library and checked out some books that I have been wanting to read:

Journal of a Solitude by May Sarton
The Creative Habit by Twyla Tharp

I think that I will start with Journal of a Solitude and see how that one is. I read an excerpt and it was really good so I am looking forward to reading it.

Saw this picture at vi,sualize.us and it made me feel a little better about myself to think that even Barbie is aging.

It is always good to check things off of your to do list! Took Sydney to the groomer today and for the next couple of days at least, she smells okay. Other than that, we are just hanging around the house and relaxing. Megan got up at the break of dawn and went to Walmart to purchase the movie Twilight. She has already watched it once and I even watched part of it. Since I did not read the book; I had to have Megan explain the storyline. It was better than I thought it would be.

Update on Megan and the vet

So on the bright side, Megan does not have Pneumonia. The doctor gave her a strong antibiotic and hopefully she will be feeling better soon. She has a really good cough medicine for night and is already in bed at 8:00pm on a Friday night! The bad news is that Annie's teeth are rotten and falling out (at least she won't be able to bite anyone) and Sydney might have a thyroid problem. I was shocked to learn that she is considered overweight(not really!) and that there is a medical reason for the smell that comes from her hair. She has to have a bath a week with special shampoo and we will learn the results of her blood work soon. She was so excited at the vets office that Hannah thought that she was going to have a heart attack. I let the vet know that Sydney had signed a Do Not Resuscitate. Hopefully the 8 benadryl a day that we are giving her now will make her feel better.Mike got home from Florida safe and sound. He is playing pool with Hannah and relaxing for a change.

Friday Funny

A few things that I found amusing today! Just not sure how they got my picture sitting on the beach. Mike is en route back home and the girls and I are cleaning house, taking the dogs to the vet and hanging out. Megan is sick and waiting for the doctor to call back with the results of her tests.

I am so obsessed with creating an amazing blog! Not sure why as I have not sent out the link so that anyone can view it. Oh well one step at a time. I have gotten caught up on Hannah's school scrapbook and am currently working on her 7th grade year. I will have it completed by the time she promotes in May. Mike is still in Florida and the girls and I are just hanging around the house this week, Super nice to get caught up on some creative projects and not worry about the time I am spending scrapbooking. Wanted to post some of the cute items I found when we went estate selling last weekend (really should be noted that Nancy found them; I just purchased them).

Busy Weekend

Such a fun and busy weekend! Mike left for Florida on friday so we planned a girl weekend to scrapbook and watch movies. Mom and Dad were attending the Senior Citizens Prom that Student Council was hosting. Everyone seemed to have a good time. We started the day by going to some Estate sales and then home to start scrapbooking. Emily and Bryon brought their nephew, Conner over and had dinner with us. Emily is starting to show and is having an ultrasound this week to find out what she is having and to see if they can confirm her due date. Katie stopped by for lunch, she is not showing yet but she is feeling somewhat better. I am so excited that they are both pregnant at the same time and will be having their kids close together.

Random Thoughts

After much deliberation, I have decided to begin a blog and commit to keeping the blog updated. Just the name alone was a huge decision for me. I had thought of the following names:
Tales of a Madwoman
Notes from the Crazy House
Living and Laughing in AZ
and last but not least; Random Thoughts about Life
